    This role will work directly with attorneys, paralegals, experts, and witnesses to conceptualize and create persuasive graphics for use in litigation. Supports trial teams with technology and presentation assistance.

    Responsibilities

    Litigation Graphic Support


    • Oversee, conceptualize, design and revise static illustrations and animated graphics using a wide variety of software for use in litigation
    • Review background case materials such as pleadings, expert reports, and related documents to develop graphics which effectively communicate case themes
    • Revise and reformat existing PowerPoint presentations
    • Design and maintain litigation-specific presentation templates
    • Assist with marketing and promoting the Firm’s internal trial resources
    • Provide any additional appropriate trial and presentation support as necessary
    • Participate in any projects that the Firm may require in order to meet its business goals


    Trial Technology Support


    • Perform trial technology support for litigation teams
    • Assist in set up of trial technology in courtroom, war room, and at arbitrations
    • Troubleshoot audio visual equipment issues
    • Consult, advise and assist attorneys, paralegals and other case team members on trial preparation, including courtroom and presentation setup
    • Assist in evaluation of new products/applications as appropriate to the Firm’s Trial Technology Services
    • Assist in the development of informational materials for trial specific applications


    Communication


    • Interact with attorneys and paralegals on a regular basis regarding trial preparation, setup, strategy and presentation
    • Collaborates on evaluation of new products/applications as appropriate to the Firm’s Trial Technology Services

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required, or substantial relevant work experience
    • Experience in law firm setting is a plus, consultant and professional services background also preferred. Trial experience a plus
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint required
    • High level of competency in the following: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, PDF reading and editing software (Nuance and/or Adobe Acrobat), and basic video editing capabilities. Experience with more advanced video and animation production software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate, and Adobe After Effects, is also a plus
    • Fast, accurate production skills required
    • Solid understanding of persuasive information design with a strong emphasis in charts, graphs, timelines, and relationship maps
    • Experience presenting in the courtroom and with trial presentation products like TrialDirector, Sanction, OnCue a plus
