    If you enjoy working with team members whose defining characteristics are achievement, initiative, professionalism, responsiveness and adaptability, you may be the person we are seeking to join our Document Services department, in Chicago, as a Clerical Assistant - 2nd Shift.


    • Provide clerical support to the Document Services management team and staff Intake, process and perform all clerical requests sent to US Document Services
    • Liaise with other operators within U.S. Document Services department to organize and perform projects
    • Provide front line customer service for the entire U.S. Document Services department
    • Assist with organizing our Proofreading intake and various projects as needed
    • Assisting Document Services Manager, Supervisors and Lead with department lists, maintaining supply stock for the department and running inter-office errands
    • Responsible for phone coverage at the Intake desk
    • Providing primary coverage to the U.S. Proofreading mailbox, backup coverage to the U.S. Document Services mailbox and associated EIS logs
    • Solely responsible for clerical tasks sent to the U.S. Document Services inbox, including assisting with distribution and prioritization of requests, filings, redlines, document management and various projects and other duties as needed


    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • 1-2 years of previous clerical experience preferred
    • Must be computer literate with various aspects of MS Office 2007 with keyboard skills of 45 wpm
    • PDF experience (Nuance, Adobe, other)
    • Basic grammar, punctuation and spelling skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Deadline oriented with proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and juggle multiple tasks
    • Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team
    • Must be customer service oriented
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to follow directions, pay close attention to detail and work well independently
    • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality required
    • Willingness to expand responsibilities
    • Light lifting, up to 30 lbs.
