    The Citrix Systems Engineer position is responsible for the planning, development, configuration, implementation, administration and maintenance of the firm’s Citrix environment. This position functions in a variety of roles including technology expert and vendor coordinator. Will also have project responsibilities for gathering requirements, identifying viable technologies and providing recommendations on specific solutions.

     

    Manage, maintain and administrate the firm’s Citrix environment including but not limited to Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, Provisioning Server, NetScaler/Access Gateway and Citrix Storefront

    • Assist with the evaluation of new products, systems and applications deemed to be appropriate to the Firm’s business regarding the Citrix environment
    • Assist in the administration and maintenance of the Firm’s Active Directory as it pertains to the Citrix environment
    • Consult on Citrix issues and initiatives providing 3rd level support
    • Liaise between Firm management, sponsors, users and other Information Technology personnel to communicate issues regarding overall Citrix operations status and strategy
    • Make recommendations to improve the use of all Firm Citrix applications
    • Point of contact and responsible for the service for all support relating to the Firm’s Citrix systems
    • Meet with user groups to understand needs, issues and concerns and make recommendations on improvements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent Citrix experience required. Relevant certifications a plus.
    • 5+ years working experience with Citrix technologies
    • 5+ years working experience with Microsoft Server technologies
    • 3+ years working experience with Server Virtualization technologies
    • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy required
    • Experience with Database Administration
    • General knowledge of DHCP, DNS, WINS and Internet Protocols
    • Good knowledge and understanding of ITIL processes and procedures
    • Committed to continued advancement with strong change management skills
    • Competent at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities
    • Familiarity with established project management and other structured operational practices
    • Exemplary troubleshooting skills
