    • Design and implement process improvement and operational recommendations in local and global practice groups and support functions
    • Document current processes supporting the delivery of legal services, evaluate and assess current service delivery processes, skill requirements and resources and develop specific plans to improve business performance
    • Lead performance information needs analysis to identify and gather data in support of quality and performance benchmarking in assigned process projects
    • Document definitions and attributes of current processes using visual diagrams, process models, process maps or other tools as appropriate
    • Design new or improved legal service delivery processes based on analysis; and implement mechanisms to ensure ongoing process adoption and continuous improvement
    • Lead process improvement initiatives by employing effective project management techniques, disciplines and tools where appropriate
    • Assign and monitor team assignments; ensure quality of work products; facilitate project communications; develop and implement change management plans supporting new processes; and provide issue management administration
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders within assigned legal practices, and with external clients on process, performance analysis and application of automation and technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal services delivery
    • Collaborate with internal functions such as IT, KM and LPM in the research, selection and integration of innovative technologies, automation and software solutions that integrate with the processes of the practice or business unit


    • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
    • A minimum of 3 years as a business analyst successfully performing process analysis and improvement; defining high level business requirements in support of process recommendations; researching and delivering impactful business solutions
    • 2-3 years of experience working in relevant roles within the legal industry or professional services preferred
    • Must be proficient with MS-Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; in particular, must possess solid and demonstrable skills in data analysis using Excel, and process mapping using current releases of MS Visio and Task Manager
    • Possess business acumen across a wide number of functional disciplines and techniques; in particular, cost/benefit analysis, performance metrics and benchmarking, practice area operations and matter (project) budgeting and control is preferred
    • Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies with a minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience leading medium to large scale projects, preferably with global scope
    • Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies, particularly as applied in the legal industry is preferred: case management, matter planning, knowledge management, AI, document automation, SharePoint, HighQ
